There is no wrong way to fish this pattern. Read more about the magic of soft hackles from Gink & Gasoline. Good stuff for those of you staying warm inside. Jamie, Tony and Jordan headed out this morning at 19 degrees. Yikes! Happy Tuesday! Happy fishing!
Soaking up the last days of summer!
I can’t believe we are already here with fall just around the corner. Foggy mornings on the river have been spectacular!

During week days, they’ve been running an optimal amount of water for boat fishing with weekends being a little lower. Come on over to catch some fish and hang in the cool water.
We just had a rain event, which temporarily will make sections of the river off color. Generation will flush this through. For full report by Jordan, go to https://www.orvis.com/fishing_report.aspx?locationid=5920.
Stay tuned for some new opportunities this fall!
Fish happy!

Hope everyone has had a great holiday! Now, it’s time to get serious!
As I say every year, we are entering my favorite season to fish. From now until April we will be focusing on large predatory browns looking to fatten up post spawn. We also expect to jump in to some cool “shad kill” action during this time of year. We have some great dates left. Don’t miss out! It seems the biggest fish we catch every year come in the next few months…
Enjoy this gallery from the past several weeks of fishing!
See you soon,
Jamie
