Sweet Sweetness
This year fall certainly has been different than last. We had a hot summer and a low water fall. We are now starting to see period of short bursts of water, which can allow for some cool stuff. We have still had a pretty sweet season thus far and have been doing lots of trips that are a little different style than we usually do. We have seen some great browns as well as some consistently sweet rainbows. A lot of these fish are not in places they normally are, but with some creative tactics you can have a sweet trip. The river is starting to empty, and I think the good fishing is just really getting cranked up. Winter fishing should be awesome! We are seeing crazy midge hatches already.
